How long can I keep a ticket open?

You can track work on a single ticket for as long as you need!

You can keep a ticket open in the Entry step open for as long as needed.  You can continually update any of the following information:

  • Update the description
    • The more time you add to a ticket, and the longer it is open, it's helpful to update the description with as much detail as possible so that your office team and the GC team are clear on the scope of work to help you get paid down the road
  • Update the category or GC reference numbers 
  • Add photos
  • Add labor
    • Note that labor will be broken down by week-ending, so an employee with hours for multiple weeks will be listed on the ticket multiple times (see below).
  • Add material
  • Don't forget to "Save and Refresh" to sync changes with the office
