The "Invoices" tab has a new look as well as some new features to make invoice management easier in the PeerAssist platform. The dashboard interface with customizable columns and quick filter dropdowns is the new standard that you will soon be available across the platform.
Columns
Select (or deselect) columns in the "Column View" dropdown, then drag-and-drop to suit your preference. All columns are sortable. Use the "Save My Views" button to name the view for future use, with the option to set it as your default view.
Quick Filters
The quick filter "Search Options" along the top allow you to easily search invoices by project, vendor, status, assignee or date. Use the "More" option to access all/additional filters.
Tip: Saving a view will combine filter settings with column preference
Invoice Status
Assign invoices a status for better organization. The statuses available for use are Entry, Pending Approval, Approved and Paid. Simply use the ones that apply to your process and skip any that are irrelevant - they do not need to be applied in any particular order or sequence.
- To update the status, open the invoice details by clicking the green status button or the cog wheel to edit:
- Scroll to the bottom and click "Update Status":
- A modal will open for you to "Select New Status" from the dropdown:
Assign To
Assign invoices to team members for visibility and accountability. Assignees are visible on the dashboard (when the "Assign To" column is selected), and there is a quick filter for "Assign To" as well.
- In the "Update Status" modal, there is an option to send an email notification and or add a note:
Tip: You can update the Assign To and Note via the "Update Status" button even when you are not changing the invoice status.
